Keep the AEGIS servers running
AEGIS is free to play and always will be. Donations pay for exactly three things: the game-server hosting contract, the VPS that runs our Discord/server bots and APIs, and the AI (Claude API) that powers them. Donating gets you nothing in-game — no items, no perks, no queue priority, no Discord role. Not donating never limits anything.
This isn't a marketing line — it's a constraint on what this page will ever offer. If a future idea would buy an advantage, the answer is no. One-time only, via PayPal. Suggested amounts are $5, $10 or $20 — or anything else from $3 up. You choose the amount on PayPal's own page.
Standard PayPal fees apply, and there's no fee-free path without formal nonprofit registration, which is why the minimum is $3.

The fine print
Donations are one-time, go to the server operator personally, and are not tax-deductible. Any surplus pays for future months of hosting, infrastructure, and API costs. Donations are final and non-refundable — give only what you can spare. If the network ever shuts down, whatever is left pays the final hosting bills.
