The AEGIS Directive

Something went wrong in the wreckage of Chernarus. Five factions walked out of it, each with a different story — and at least one of them knows more than it's saying. This terminal is what's left of the record.

Status: in build, private testing. Not yet a live server. Currently running at 8 slots for this testing phase — capacity scales up before any wider access opens — see Access & Onboarding for how that will work.

What is this?

The AEGIS Directive is a DayZ PVE server series set in the aftermath of the Chernarus outbreak. Every faction you meet in-game is AI — the fight is against the world, not other survivors. No base raiding, no PvP.

The name isn't just branding. In the fiction, AEGIS — the Automatic Entity Governance & Interdiction System — is the program that caused all of this. Read the full file on the Directive, and on the contractor behind it, Castellan Biosciences.

Five walked out of the wreckage

The Coalition holds the airfield. The People's Front doesn't trust them. The police split down the middle. The Collectors run the black market. The Medics know more than they're telling. A sixth party is rumored — see Factions for what's confirmed and what isn't.

One network, more than one site

Chernarus is the first server. It isn't planned to be the only one — see Sites for what's live and what's coming.
